The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.149 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC. He had been remanded to judicial custody on 07.09.2023. 2.It is stated that the petitioner had convinced the defacto complainant to invest a sum of Rs.49,00,000/- in a business venture and thereafter, he had not returned the said amount. 3.It is stated that even when the defacto complainant demanded the said amount the petitioner had not repaid the amount. 4.In view of the fact that investigation will have to be done whether there are any similar cases against the petitioner herein, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
