Order Heard Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application No.20240827015670 dated 27.08.2024 seeking to survey the land and further to issue patta in the name of the petitioner within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an on-line application dated 27.08.2024 to the respondents seeking to survey the property and paid necessary fees and apart from the same, the petitioner also made a representation to the first respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, however, neither the on-line application made for the purpose of field measurement and survey of the 2/5
petitioner's property nor the representation made for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner has been considered by either of the respondents, hence, the present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Government Advocate for respondents would submit that the two-fold prayer sought for by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within the time as stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for in this Writ Petition and in view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the on-line application dated 27.08.2024 and take suitable steps for surveying the petitioner's property, after giving notice to all the interested parties, and issue patta in the name of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in the event, any 3/5
