O R D E R

(through Video Conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking relief to quash the First Information Report registered in Cr.No.253 of 2019 dated 07.09.2019 on the file of the 1st respondent Police as illegal.

2.Heard Mr.Abdul Saleem, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the petition mentioned crime number i.e., Crime No.253 of 2019, the first respondent police has completed the investigation and filed final report on 17.12.2020 before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court for exclusive trial of CCB (Cheating) Cases and CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, Chennai as further action dropped. He would further submit that before filing final report, R.C.S.notice has also been served to the defacto complainant through post. The said submission is recorded.

4.Hence, in view of the above, without prejudice to the rights and contentions having by either parties, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
