When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition as the petitioner has already paid the penalty and redemption fine amount confirmed by the second respondent vide impugned Order-in-Appeal F.No.01/92/171/221/AM-16/PC-VI/27 dated 09.03.2017. As the entire liability under the impugned order has been discharged, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. He has also filed a memo to that effect.

2. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the memo filed by him, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
