2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the final report filed against the petitioner in C.C.No.449 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi, Coimbatore, for the offences under Sections 295 and 506(2) IPC.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he used to hurt the sentiments of other religious persons. While so, on 10.07.2020, he destroyed a place of worship besides caused serious threat to the persons who tried to prevent him. In this regard, statements have been recorded from the witnesses.

4. At this stage, this Court cannot conduct a roving enquiry or mini trial to appreciate the veracity of the statements and this Court finds no merits in this petition.
