Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider and act upon the Petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2024 and forthwith for removal of illegal encroachment made by the 5th and 6th Respondents herein in the Government poromboke land comprised in S.No.81 Sadaiyampattu Village, Somandargudi Post, Kallakurichi Taluk and District and ensuring that the village community have continued usage of pathway to access their paddy fields and their houses and to access the temple and the school within a time period. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition on the statement that the encroachment has been partly removed.

2. Mr.A.Edwin Prabhakar, learned State Government Pleader, would submit that proceedings for removal of encroachments have already been initiated and will be brought to its logical conclusion.

3. Taking into consideration the aforesaid submission, and keeping it open for the official respondents to remove all encroachments, against which action has been initiated, this petition at this stage is disposed of.
