PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to effect the electricity service connection of the petitioner's property situated in S.F.No.208/8 at Pappankulam Village, Udumalpet Taluk, as per the petitioner's Challan dated 29.08.2024 within time stipulated by this Court. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to effect the electricity service connection in the petitioner's property situated in S.F.No.208/8 at Pappankulam Village, Udumalpet Taluk, as per the petitioner's Challan dated 29.08.2024 within time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent on instruction submits that the petitioner herself submitted a letter before the 3rd respondent on 23.09.2024, requesting him to cancel the application submitted by her, on the ground that the Court case was pending regarding the subject property. The learned counsel also produced the copy of the letter submitted by the petitioner dated 23.09.2024 2/4

before this Court. Recording the said statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of.
