Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in No.692/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 17.10.2019 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of petitioner's son, namely, Manikandan @ Mani, Son of Murali, aged about 22 years detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.] Petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Manikandan @ Mani, Son of Murali, aged about 22 years, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of the second respondent passed in No.692/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 17.10.2019. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents, would submit that the detention order passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner, dated 17.10.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4906, dated 29.11.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
