O R D E R

The petition is filed to withdraw HMOP.No.232 of 2024 from the file of the Family Court, Tiruvallur and transfer the same to the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2. The petitioner would submit that she along with her 10 months old child are staying with her parents at Chennai. The petitioner is dependent on her father and her brother for their daily expenses. She would submit that it is very difficult for her both physically and financially to travel to Tiruvallur to attend every hearings. Therefore, the petition.

3. Heard the learned counsels and perused the records.

4. Considering the above facts particularly the fact that the respondent is not maintaining his wife and his child, the transfer petition is allowed. Though the prayer is for the transfer of the petition 2/5

to II Additional Family Court, Chennai, the petition will be transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai and the Principal Family Judge, Chennai shall decide the Court to which the matter should be allotted. Once the matter is alloted to a particular Court, the Court shall first refer the matter to mediation and thereafter dispose of the same.

5. With the above directions, the transfer petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
