ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take further action on the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2021 and to issue patta within a stipulated time.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his mother Anjammal had purchased an extent of 4578 Sq.ft. land in Survey No.125/3 and and an extent of 16132 sq.ft. in Survey No.138/2, situated at Athangudi Village, Koothanallur Taluk and after purchase his mother applied for transfer of patta, patta was issued only in respect of the Survey No.125/2 alone and Survey No.138/2 was left out. Subsequently, mother of the Petitioner died on 23.09.2016, hence, the patta in respect of Survey No.125/3 was transferred to the petitioner and his brothers and sisters, who are the legal heirs of Late Anjammal. With regard to survey No.138/2, the petitioner 2/4

made a representation to the respondents on 08.07.2021 and on 15.11.2021 but so far no action has been taken by respondents. Hence, he filed this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the respondents will consider the representations of the petitioner and pass Orders within a period of two months.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondents shall consider the representations of the petitioner dated 08.07.2021 and 05.11.2021 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
