The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C. @ 304-B of IPC in Crime No.352 of 2022, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant's sister one Hema Bindu was married to one Jayachandran/A1 on 16.11.2019 and they have lead a happy life. While so on 17.03.2022, said Hema Bindu has committed suicide by hanging. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioners are the mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the defacto complainant's sister/deceased. He would also submit that due to dowry harassment, the defacto complainant's sister one Hema Bindu had committed suicide by hanging. He has also produced a copy of the RDO report dated 11.10.2022. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

sp 5.Heard both sides and perused the materials including the RDO report. On a perusal of the RDO report, it is seen that there is some dowry harassment to the deceased.

6.Taking into consideration of the fact that the deceased has suffered due to dowry harassment by the accused family, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
