The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 6 (4) of TNSC (RDCS) 1982 r/w 7 (1)(a)(ii) of EC Act, 1955, in Crime No.282 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in the case. Thus, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 3.It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the respondent that A1 and A3 were transporting 2350 Kgs of PDS rice from Pollachi to Uthukuli Road in a vehicle bearing registration No.TN 37 CD 7590. Petitioner is the owner of the vehicle. It is also alleged that the petitioner is the owner of the PDS rice, who had arranged the transportation. A1 and A2 had been arrested, who are the Driver and Cleaner of the vehicle.

sli 4.In view of that particular fact, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
