The petitioners are daughters of the complainant who has given a petition to the respondent police stating that he being a senior citizen had settled the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page No.1/2

property in favour of the daughters, but now he being neglected by them, the Police has called these petitioners for enquiry, but instead of participating in the enquiry, they came before this Court alleging that the police harassing them.

2. This Court finds no material to infer that police are harassing. They are only by following the procedure of law, has called them to participate in the enquiry on the complaint given against them by their own father and it will not fall under the meaning of harassment. If the petitioners have not cooperated with the enquiry, the respondent police can take coercive steps.
