ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The present Writ Petition has been instituted seeking direction to the respondents to grant emergency leave for 15 days without escort from 23.10.2024 to the detenue, Mehul Bafna.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed this petition by stating that the prisoner has availed ordinary leave from 03.10.2024 which expires today. Meanwhile, he has submitted an application for grant of six days emergency leave which is pending on the file of the authorities. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to extend the Ordinary Leave already granted till 23.10.2024. However, it is left open to the authorities to consider the emergency leave application, if any pending on the file of the respondents.
