ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to conduct survey in the land bearing Survey No.205/6C, Patta No.607 in Kendikampatti Village, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2023. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had made e-challan dated 04.07.2022 for conducting survey in the petitioner's property. However, the respondents had not taken any action. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 13.08.2023. Even then, no steps were taken by the respondents to consider his representation. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the writ petition.

3.Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 3 and 4 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2023 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner's dated 13.08.2023 and conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the interested parties and rival claimants if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order since the petitioner has been waiting for more than 11⁄2 years after paying the e-challan.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
