prohibition of further registration on the basis of the Document No.7327 of 2021, registered with the third respondent, as it is an Impersonated and Forged document and to endorse the same in Book 2 of the registration records, and to dispose the proceedings within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the proceedings that are pending in e/f/vz;/1109-M2-2022. dated 09.05.2023 within the time frame fixed by this court.

2. Heard Mr.P.G.Thiyagu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The main grievance expressed by the petitioner is that a forged and fabricated document has been created and the same has been registered

on the file of the third respondent. In view of the same, a complaint was given by the petitioner. On considering the same, the third respondent has submitted a report dated 05.07.2024 before the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not acted upon the same and taken any further decision and the second respondent has only written a letter to the Avadi Police Commissioner and Additional Commissioner dated 08.10.2024 seeking for initiating criminal prosecution against the named nine accused persons. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the relief that has been sought for in the present writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law and conclude the proceedings pending in e/f/vz;/1109-M2-2022. dated 09.05.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
