This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.864 of 2018 pending on the file of respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry is pending in Crime No.864 of 2018 and he prays time for completion of enquiry and for filing report.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent/Police has registered the FIR in Crime No.864 of 2022, in which, investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks one month time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

5.Recording the same, the respondent/Police is directed to file the final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
