ORDER

This matter has been listed today under the caption "for being mentioned".

2. When the matter was listed on 29.10.2024, it was informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner/tenant had intended to st respondent/landlord within four vacate and hand over the possession to the 1 months from 29.10.2024 and she had also filed an Affidavit of Undertaking. Based on the undertaking given by the petitioner, this Court disposed of the revision petition directing the petitioner to vacate and hand over the possession to the respondent on or before 28.02.2025. However, it is now brought to the st respondent that the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the 1 petitioner, having given the Undertaking before this Court, has not vacated the premises till date.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the 1 that the execution petition in E.P.No.11 of 2017 in RCOP No.7 of 2005 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Tirukoilur, is still pending and it now stands posted on 21.04.2025.

4. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has committed an act of contempt and also attempted to interfere with the administration of justice. Registry is directed to issue notice to the petitioner for contempt of Court returnable in four weeks.

5. Further, the Executing Court is directed to proceed with the execution petition in E.P.No.11 of 2017 in RCOP No.7 of 2005 and shall take steps to evict the petitioner from the premises of the first respondent at the earliest.

6. Post the matter after four weeks.
