ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to transfer of patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.94/2A to an extent of 42 Acres 24 cents, as per patta No.115, Survey No.94/212A part situated at No.47, Melmaligaipattu Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

On instruction, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the request made by the petitioner was rejected, since the land was acquired for the purpose of Knowledge City.

Considering the above submissions, the direction sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted and the Writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
