This Criminal Original Petition is filed alleging that police is disturbing the petitioner under the guise of investigation on the complaint given by one Selvanathan.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on the complaint given by Selvanathan against this petitioner alleging that the petitioner has illegally trespassed into his house while the wife of the complainant taking bath and damaged the household articles, registered C.S.R.No.421 of 2024 on 19.10.2021. The petitioner's presence is wanted in connection with the above said complaint. He is not available for enquiry, however, had approached this Court alleging as if police is harassing him. If the petitioner appear before the respondent police for enquiry, the respondent police will conduct the enquiry in the manner known to law and proceed.

In the light of the above submissions made by the respondent police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner herein to cooperate with the investigation and on such cooperation, the police shall proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.
