offence under Sections 406 & 420 IPC, based on the information given by the petitioner herein had not seen much progress on the investigation side. Hence the present Criminal Original Petition for direction to complete the investigation within the time specified.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that it is a case of cheating apart from the petitioner, the respondent police has received 13 more complaints. Since the gravity of the crime requires investigation by CCBCID, the files has been transferred to CCB on 03.11.2023. He further reports that investigation in this matter will be completed preferrably within a period of five months. 3.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
