ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the Petitioner's representation at 16.08.2024 as per the provisions at the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014, made for granting permission/ certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the Petitioner's bunk Shop at Shenoy Nagar Metro Compound wall, Shenoy Nagar Bus stop left side, Pulla Avenue Road, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai 600 030, wherein selling Chats and food items by using LPG Gas Stove.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 16.08.2024 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass appropriate orders on merits

and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
