This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 11.10.2019 and for a consequential directions to permit the petitioner to undergo
the Live Stock Inspector Training Course.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Animal Husbandry Assistant in the year 1999 and he was regularized in service in the year 2011 with effect from 28.08.2008. The petitioner wanted to attend the Live Stock Inspector Training in order to became eligible for further promotion. However, he was not sent for the training and therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent in this regard. The name of the petitioner was not included in the list that was prepared by the 2nd respondent and aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4. Considering the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 15.10.2019 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 15.10.2019 and a copy of this order.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition are also closed.
