ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent

to transfer the electricity service connection bearing number SC. No.553 001 74 from S.No.272/1 to S.No.271/2, Kilanur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk and District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petiitoner is the holder of the service connection in S.No.272/1 situated at Kilanur Village, Tiruvallur Disrict and he wanted to transfer the connetion from S.No.272/1 to 272/2 vide application dated 24.08.2020 and the same was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate order within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has not made any application to the respondents. If he makes an application along with necessary documents, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the respondents.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent for

transferring the service connection along with necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass orders within a period of two weeks thereafter,

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
