ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent/the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, to dispose of the representation dated 20.09.2022.

2. The necessity for such representation was that the petitioner had a 1/4

gun license and wanted to renew the same.

3. There was an enquiry conducted and certain clarification were sought by the respondent.

4. Aggrieved that final orders had not been passed, the present writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus.

5. Mr.R.Vinoth Raja, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) who takes notice for the respondent stated that within a period of four weeks, orders would be passed, consequent to the representation given by the petitioner.

6. Recording such submission, with hope that the orders would be passed within a period of four weeks from today, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
