The petitioner herein seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.740 of 2023, registered under Sections 328 IPC & 24 (1) COTP Act. 2.The petitioner herein is the owner of the Godown at Katcheri Mettu Street, where, about 490 Kgs of banned tobacco products had been seized. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that A1 to A4 had been taken into custody and had been granted bail. But the petitioner is only an owner of the Godown.

3.It is also the case of the respondent that there are four previous cases of similar nature pending against the petitioner herein. 4.In view of that particular fact, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are also closed.
