ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2022 for issuance of permanent patta on the basis of fulfillment of the conditions of temporary patta.
2. The petitioner had given representation-cum-application on 19.08.2022 for issuance of patta, since the same has not been considered by the respondent Tahsildar, she has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.T.Nagarajan Bhuddhisht, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said representation-cum-application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this 2/4
writ petition and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the application/representation submitted by the petitioner dated 19.08.2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
