The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the owners of their respective premises and they have applied for electricity service connection before the first respondent in the name of the second respondent on 05.02.2019, for which, the first respondent has sent a reply vide f/vz;/c/bgh-,&g-yl;Rkpg[uk;-nf/Reg. Post-m/vz;/388 dated 09.02.2019 to the petitioners, in which, the first respondent directed the petitioners to get direction from this Court for effecting electricity service connection to their house and further, directed to submit a new 2/4

application. Thereafter, the petitioners made a representation dated 26.04.2019 before the second respondent-Temple for the same relief by mentioning the orders passed by this Court in favour of the persons, who are residing in their locality. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petitions are filed before this Court for appropriate directions.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to provide electricity service connection to their respective premises in the name of the second respondent-Temple, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent-TANGEDCO would submit that, already the electricity service connection was effected to the petitions mentioned premises in favour of the second respondent-Temple. Hence, the prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions have become infructuous. 3/4

5. In view of the above submissions, nothing survives in these writ petitions. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
