The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land as per the patta and other related documents in the Vanathirayan Pattinam Village Revenue Patta No.270, S.No.166/17B, 0.2 Ares (5 Cents) based on the representation dated 12.02.2021 and 06.08.2021 given by the petitioner to the 4th respondent herein.
2/ In respect of the property at Survey No.166/17B at Vanathirayan Pattinam Village, Ariyalur District, the petitioner wanted to survey the land, therefore he had already given an application on 06.08.2021 along with necessary fee which has also been paid, despite that since no action been taken by the respondents to survey the land and to earmark the boundaries, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.R.Sivaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

The learned Government Advocate would submit that, if application already been filed with necessary fee also has been paid as early as on 06.08.2021, certainly that would be considered by the respondents especially the 4th respondent/Tahsildar and who would take steps to do the needful to survey the land after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the adjacent land owners within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the 4th respondent/ Tahsildar to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 06.08.2021 for surveying the land of the petitioner and accordingly do the needful within a time frame of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
