This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.388 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 312 and 324(2) of BNS, on the file of the 1st respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

The allegations in the FIR in Crime No.388 of 2024, clearly indicate that on 30.11.2024, some unknown persons have made an attempt to commit dacoity, in the said process, they have damaged CCTV cameras and the lights which were installed in the shed of de-facto complainant. As per the prosecution, the investigation is going on.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner mainly contended that the petitioner's name has not been found in the FIR and in the original complaint. Only based on the confession given by Panner Selvam and Shanmugam, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the alleged offences.

5. At the outset, this Court is of the view that investigation is on Page Nos.2/4

and part of such huge crime is unearthed and hence, this Court does not find any merit in the present petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
