ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.500 of 2019 on the file of the respondent Police and quash the same.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Erode and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.860 of 2019. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition to quash the charge sheet, if he so desired or so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
