ORDER

By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to provide New Electricity Service Connection in Service Connection No.20000413809231803 to the Petitioner-s House situated at Karukkalvadi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District by considering the Application dated 19.09.2023 and the same was not considered. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the 4 th respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.09.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Per contra, the learned Government appearing for the respondents

submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the 4 th respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners application dated 19.09.2023 within a period of eight weeks, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
