This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second 1/4

respondent police not to harass the petitioner based on the representation dated 14.10.2024 in view of the complaint by the third respondent/ de-facto complainant dated 11.10.2024.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police submitted that on the complaint given by third respondent/de-facto complainant, the second respondent-police issued summons to the petitioner for enquiry. Instead of participating in the enquiry, he has approached this Court filing this petition as if Police is harassing. Further, there is no proof for harassment.

3. On a perusal of the complaint, it is seen that prima facie there are allegations made against the petitioner, therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the enquiry. 11.12.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No ms 2/4
