By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for earlier disposal of his revision petition filed which is pending on the file of the first respondent. The said revision petition was filed on 15.12.2021 aggrieved by the order imposing punishment by the second respondent against the petitioner.

4. Heard Ms.B.Sharmila, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's revision petition as stated supra, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's revision petition dated 15.12.2021, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
