This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.28 of 2018 on the
file of the respondent police and file final report within a time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is the complainant alleging forgery and cheating committed by the named accused gave complaint to the respondent police which is registered in Crime No.28 of 2018. Since the respondent police has not completed the investigation and filed the final report so far, the petitioner has filed the above criminal original petition.
4. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that pending this criminal original petition, the respondent police completed the investigation and laid a charge sheet though online dated 09.11.2024.
5. In view of the same, no further order is required to be passed in this criminal original petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
