Mr.P.Ananda Kumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperumbudur/R1 to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.10.2023 to issue legal heirship certificate of one Ponnan, who is stated to be the grandfather of the petitioner.

3. Normally, this Court is most disinclined to consider requests for issuance of mandamus filed very proximate to the filing of the Writ Petitions. However, Mr.Ananda Kumar, does not express any objection to such mandamus being issued in the present case.

4. Thus, mandamus is issued to R2/Tashildar, Sriperumbudur to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.10.2023 (admittedly received by R2) hear the petitioner and any other persons who are deemed necessary and pass orders 2 / 4

thereupon within a period of twelve (12) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
