O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to conduct an enquiry to cancel patta No.312 in the name of the third respondent in respect of S.F.No.297/4 measuring 1.28 acres, Thandalam Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023 within the time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023 and conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner, third respondent and interested parties/rival claimants if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
