W.P.No.5528 of 1996:- Issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other direction calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent in PSA.IA.No.30/94 and quash his order dated 19.12.1994 and direct him to consider afresh about the Applicability of Tamil Nadu payment of Subsistence Allowance Act, 1981 to the petitioner. 2.The matter relates to suspension of an employee of the appellant Bank wayback in the year 1991, for which a writ petition was filed in the year 1996, against the granting of subsistence allowance by respondent no.3, Labour Court. 3.There was no interim order in this appeal. The matter has been pending here for almost quarter of a century. We are, therefore, not inclined to grant any adjournment at this stage. We are consigning this appeal to records without prejudice to any action that might have been taken subsequently. No costs.
