This application has been filed by the contempt petitioner seeking to accept the cause title mentioned in the contempt petition.

2. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application that the petitioner had filed a writ petition viz., W.P.No.25961 of 2018 forbearing the respondents preventing the petitioner from attending the third respondent college. This Court, by Order dated 04.10.2018, directed the third respondent / Bharathiyar University Arts and Science College, not to disturb the petitioner from attending the college until further orders. However, from July 2022, the petitioner is not permitted to sign the attendance register. Therefore, he is inclined to file a contempt petition. It is further submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.36 dated 28.02.2019, converted the third respondent College into the Government Arts and Science College, Gudalur, Nilgirs and therefore, the petitioner has filed this sub application seeking to accept the cause title.

3. After hearing the learned counsel for the contempt petitioner and considering the above reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this application is ordered as prayed for.
