ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent-Police to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 251/2025 from the file of the second respondent-police station (Gingee) to any other police station or appoint any other specialized agency thereby to continue proper and fair investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint as against the accused persons before the respondent Police 2/5

and F.I.R has also been registered in Crime No.251 of 2025 on 09.06.2025. Since the respondent-Police has not taken any action with regard to the same, the petitioner is before this Court by way of filing this criminal original petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that investigation has been completed and final report will be filed within a period of two weeks.

5. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the dispute between the parties is only with regard to pathway due to which, they have quarrelled each other. Considering the nature of dispute, this Court is of the view that transfer of investigation is not required. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
