Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to approve the appointment of the petitioner in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School, a two teacher school, from the date of appointment on 01.03.2016 with payment of salary and other service benefits based on the proposal forwarded by the fourth respondent School dated 01.03.2016.

ORDER

Though the prayer made in the writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined the prayer to the limited extent of disposal of the representation dated 12.04.2017 filed by the petitioner before the third respondent, viz.Additional Assistant Elementary Educational Officer, Tiruvallur District.

2.Mr.P.Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents 1 to 3 states that the representation which was originally returned with some queries has been re-presented by the petitioner and is pending disposal before the third respondent.

3.In the aforesaid circumstances, it would suffice that a direction be issued to the third respondent to consider and also pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2017, after hearing the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
