ORDER
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner was subjected to certain charges through a Charge Memo dated 18.02.2022 and was placed under suspension on 23.02.2022. According to the petitioner, a domestic inquiry was held on 02.08.2022 and thereafter, an Inquiry Officer also submitted his report to the third respondent on 11.11.2022. Since there was no further development after the Inquiry Officer's report, the present Writ Petition has been filed, seeking to expedite and closing the disciplinary proceedings.

3. It is almost one year since the Inquiry Officer has submitted his report and till date, no action has been taken, which may amount to dereliction of duty on the part of the Disciplinary Authority. However, if the Disciplinary Authority is directed to dispose of the disciplinary proceedings and pass final orders therein, within a stipulated time, the ends of justice will be secured.
4. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the third respondent herein, to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Charge Memo dated 18.02.2022, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
