O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: To direct the respondents to conduct an enquiry by giving an opportunity to all the legal heirs of the deceased G.Elumalai and to issue the legal heir certificate in pursuant to the application dated 27.09.2022 submitted by the petitioner to the respondents.

2. Considering the nature of prayer, notice to the 3rd respondent is deemed unnecessary.

3. The application filed by the petitioner seeking legal heirship certificate is pending with the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry as per G.O.Ms.No.478 dated 29.09.2022 and issue a certificate, if the petitioner is found eligible. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
