ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tiruvottiyur to dispose of the case in C.C.No.110 of 2018. as expeditiously as possible.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police filed a final report on 06.02.2017 and the same was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvottiyur in C.C.No.110 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 341, 323 of IPC. However, as of now, not even single witness has been examined. The case is pending without any progress. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. On perusal of Court diary, it is seen that the C.C.No.110 of 2018 is not yet disposed and the case is pending from 01.03.2021 without any valid reason. Therefore, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvottiyur to dispose of the C.C.No.110 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
