ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation dated 14.10.2024 seeking No Objection Certificate from the respondents 1 & 2 to provide electricity supply to the petitioner's trust vegetable shop and further direct the third respondent to provide electricity supply to the petitioner's vegetable shop. 2/6
2. It is the case of the petitioner that it is a trust engaged in doing services to orphanage children. The petitioner is running a vegetable shop situated at Kamarajar Nagar, opposite to the lake, Perungudi, Chennai 600 096. The proceeds from vending of vegetable are used for the welfare of general public. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 1 & 2 on 14.10.2024 seeking No Objection Certificate for getting electricity connection for the vegetable shop run by the petitioner and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.P.Prithvi Chopda, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the third respondent.
4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the petitioner is running a vegetable shop in the temporary structure put up by them in the above said place. Therefore, the respondents 1 & 2 contemplated necessary action against the petitioner. In these 3/6
circumstances, the representation has been submitted by the petitioner seeking No Objection Certificate.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2024 and pass final order, on its own merits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
