ORDER
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's land and issue a separate patta in Survey Nos.256/3, 258/22, 258/3 and 258/21 at Naikanahalli Village, Dharmapuri District on the basis of his representation dated 07.11.2022.
2. In respect of the property at S.Nos. 256/3, 258/22, 258/3 and 258/21 at Naikanahalli Village, Dharmapuri District, in order to get separate patta, the petitioner has made representation dated 07.11.2022, since the same was not considered, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.K.Gandhi Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that it is only a representation claimed to have been 2/5
given by the petitioner, however as per procedure in vogue, the petitioner has to make an on-line application and once the petitioner has come forward to make an on-line application that would be considered by the respondents especially the second respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and having regard to the aforesaid factual matrix, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order:
That it is open to the petitioner to make an on-line application seeking separate patta for the land in question to the second respondent through web-portal or on-line within a period of two(2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and once such an on-line application is filed that would be considered and decided by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law thereafter within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
