The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows:- To issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2022 within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, notice to the 4th respondent is deemed unnecessary. Mrs.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Considering the provisions of Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 23(1) within a period of 2/4
