The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.389 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 302 of IPC. The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2023.

2.It is the case of the defacto complainant that the defacto complainant has a younger sister aged about 21 years. It is stated that both the defacto complainant and the younger sister went to work and when he came home he found that his mother was lying down in blood in the bedroom. Even on the earlier occasion it was found that the CCTV footages clearly revealed both A1 and A2 had gone up the stairs of the house while the murder was done.

3.It is also stated that investigation had been completed and final report had also been filed and the matter is now pending for committal before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore,

Chennai. Let the defacto complainant be examined as a witness and thereafter, there can be consideration of bail. 4.At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 07.11.2023 ata
