Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take the petitioner's son, namely, R.Karthik, S/o.Ramesh to private hospital to undergo an operation at "Metro Health Clinic, No.111B, 2nd Avenue Extension, Anna Nagar, Chennai" under the care of Doctor Mr.L.Prakash at the cost of the petitioner by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 01.09.2017. The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take the petitioner's son to private hospital to undergo an operation at the cost of the petitioner by considering her representation dated 01.09.2017.

2. The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to take her son to private hospital. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
