The petitioner herein, who is arrayed as A2, is facing trial for the offences punishable under Sections 302 read with 34 of IPC, in Crime No.678 of 2021, registered on the file of the respondent police. The petitioner earlier had been granted bail, but jumped bail and was thereafter secured on issuance of a NonDr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Crl.O.P.No.24182 of 2025 rpl Bailable Warrant. The case has been pending since 2023, due to the abscondance of this petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner has eleven previous cases pending against him. He further submitted that if released on bail, there is every possibility of the petitioner absconding again.

3. This Court, having considered the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 03.09.2025 rpl To 1.The III Additional District Court, Coimbatore.
